About Gary
Hi! I’m Gary, an NYU Economics student with a strong background in math and analytical thinking. I love helping younger students build confidence and curiosity in math through clear explanations and step-by-step guidance. My lessons focus on understanding the “why” behind each concept, making math less intimidating and more intuitive. My teaching approach focuses on building strong conceptual understanding before moving to problem-solving. I help students see why math works — not just how to do it.
I use a mix of:
