About Stephanie
You can trust that your child is in expert hands. I’m a certified NYC teacher with a Master’s degree in Education and over six years of experience helping students succeed, whether in the classroom, one-on-one, or in small groups. I’ve taught math (K–8), phonics (all levels), English and reading (all levels), and creative writing, and I specialize in making lessons engaging, personalized, and effective. I believe learning should be joyful, and I work hard to ensure each child feels confident and supported every step of the way. I take a personalized approach to tutoring by getting to know each student and tailoring lessons to their interests and learning style. I present concepts in multiple ways, visual, hands-on, and discussion-based, to ensure understanding and engagement. A typical lesson includes review, new instruction, guided practice, and independent application. I tutor K–8 math, phonics at all levels, and English/reading for all levels, as well as offer creative writing and test prep support. What sets me apart is my ability to make lessons both rigorous and enjoyable, helping each student build confidence and success.
