About Darlene
I have been in healthcare for over 40 years. I have been an RN for 22 years and before that I was a Registered Respiratory Therapist. I have a Masters Degree in Nursing.
My husband is also a RN with a Masters degree. We have been married for 23 years and our son attends Florida State University majoring in Engineering.

I've had experience in respiratory/cardiopulmonary, ICU, burn unit, ER, medical/surgical, pre-op and PACU. I like to connect with my students and make learning fun. I use discussion and visual learning. I currently teach clinicals in med/Surg at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.
