About Tatum

I offer personalized tutoring for nursing students who want to:
• Understand complex concepts in a simple, clear way
• Improve test-taking skills (NCLEX-style questions & strategies)
• Build confidence in clinical reasoning and critical thinking
• Master topics like medications, pathophysiology, and prioritization

My teaching style is organized, supportive, and tailored to how you learn best.

Throughout my program, I was known for my ability to simplify difficult concepts, create structured study plans, and break information down in a way that actually makes sense. My classmates often came to me for explanations, test review, and help understanding pathophysiology.

In tutoring, I focus on helping you understand the “why,” not just memorize facts—because that’s what builds the confidence and critical thinking you need to succeed in school, clinicals, and the NCLEX.

Your first session is free (30 minutes) and is meant for us to get to know each other. This is your time to introduce yourself, share your goals, and let me know what you’re needing support with.

We’ll talk about:
• What you’re currently struggling with
• Your learning style
• What you want to get out of tutoring

After that, all following sessions will be focused, personalized tutoring where we dive into the material and work through it together.
