About Gopika
My name is Gopika, and I'm currently a first-year nursing student at Toronto Metropolitan University. Growing up, I've never had a proper connection with any of my tutors and was not excited about learning at all. Why? Because the environment they set had no room for making mistakes. I realized that to grow, mistakes happen; in fact, they should happen. Now, I am committed to helping students strengthen their skills at their own pace while developing independence and a positive mindset toward learning.

I will start by assessing the client's current level in their abilities to do the subject. Based on the level, I will come up with a specific lesson plan that not only targets areas of improvement but also builds up their strengths. A typical lesson plan will include weekly objectives, structured practice and regular check-ins to maintain progress. My goal is for clients to be able to enjoy learning and not see it as a harsh chore. I also want them to see their progress as an individualized and personalized factor. The lessons are for students who need extra support in Math and/or English and/or Sciences, ranging from elementary to high school level, including students who want to strengthen foundational skills, improve grades, or build confidence.
