About Jennefer
I've been in the profession for 24 years of experience in many different modalities in nursing, bringing the hospital floor to the classroom. Instead of just memorizing symptoms from a textbook, I help you understand how they present in a real patient. My goal is to help you transition from a student mindset to a clinical mindset. Success in tough subjects like Nursing or Science requires more than just hard work—it requires a system. With my background in Management, I teach my students how to organize their study habits, manage their time effectively, and approach complex problems with a clear, administrative strategy. I pride myself on being a 'translational' teacher. Whether I’m explaining basic biology to a middle schooler or complex pharmacology to a senior nursing student, I have the experience to adjust my language and pace to meet you exactly where you are. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all education.

Hi, I’m Jennefer. As a Registered Nurse (BSN) with a background in Management (BA), I offer a unique, dual-focused approach to tutoring.
Whether you are a nursing student struggling with Dosage Calc and Pathophysiology, or a younger student needing help with Science and Study Skills, I adapt my teaching to fit your specific learning style. Nursing school isn't just about memorization; it's about learning to think like a clinician under pressure. I know how overwhelming those 500-page chapters can feel. I don't just teach you 'what' to learn; I use my management background to teach you 'how' to organize your brain and your schedule to succeed. I have experience simplifying complex science into fun, relatable concepts for younger learners and for Adults/Nursing Students: I provide real-world clinical context from my career as an RN to make your textbooks come to life.
