About Upasti
Hi, I'm Upasti — a BSc Statistics & Data Science student at St. Xavier's University, Kolkata, and a State-Level Gold Medalist in the International Mathematics Olympiad. I scored 95.6% in my ICSE and 90.25% in my ISC boards, and have interned at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Data Analytics and completed the McKinsey Forward Program.
I've been passionate about mathematics my whole life, and I love making it accessible to others. My sessions are patient, personalized, and conducted in English, Bengali, or Hindi — whatever works best for you.

Teaching techniques and methods
I adapt to every learner — using visuals, questioning, and step-by-step breakdowns depending on what clicks. My competitive maths background helps me anticipate exactly where students get stuck and explain my way around it.
Usual structure of a class
Every session starts by reading the student. Got a specific doubt? We tackle it directly. Need exam prep? We identify gaps and fill them. Regular session? We recap, then advance. The structure always follows the student.

IMO State Gold Medalist with top board scores. Trilingual — I can explain in English, Bengali, or Hindi. Patient, rigorous, and personally invested. I don't just teach answers; I build the thinking behind them.
