About Zachary
While operating nuclear power plants, one of the things that gave me the most satisfaction was training others on how to operate the plant. To do that there has to be an enormous amount of mental scaffolding, understanding, and situational awareness.
After I got out of the navy, I found that that particular skill set applies directly to tutoring. I continued to be a tutor well after being a student because of how much I enjoy it.
I'm currently experimenting with streaming, content creation with associated editing and audio balancing in my spare time.

I like starting from a basic perspective and then add complexity one layer at a time until we meet the difficulty of the problem at hand, if total understanding is lacking.
If the problems are smaller in proportion, then I like to watch the student work through the problem and help develop mental scaffolding and how this particular question compares to others that were easier or harder. This can help with identifying particular concept issues.
