About John
I’m a second-year PhD student and not long ago I was sitting my GCSEs and A-levels, so I understand the pressure students feel. My lessons are a judgement-free zone: there’s no such thing as a silly question, and we use mistakes to learn. I tutor Maths and Physics from GCSE to A-level with clear, step-by-step explanations and lots of practice, building confidence as well as grades.

I have a fairly relaxed approach to teaching and learning. With experience teaching undergraduate students, I believe that students learn best from their mistakes, with guidance when appropriate. Offering a relaxed and comfortable environment where no question is a 'stupid question', I am eager to help students of all abilities reach their potential.
