About Yuet Ching
I am a Master’s graduate in Chinese Literature from National Taiwan University, with a strong academic background and proven teaching experience. I was awarded the NTU Excellent Teaching Assistant Award and have supported courses with over 200 students, consistently receiving high teaching evaluations (4.91/5).
Beyond teaching, I have research experience and have presented my work at international conferences, including NUS in Singapore. This allows me to bring both academic depth and clear, structured explanations into my lessons.
Students and parents often describe me as patient, attentive, and supportive. I take time to understand each student’s needs and learning pace, and I am committed to helping them build confidence as well as real language ability.

I offer structured yet engaging Chinese lessons tailored to each student’s level, from young learners (age 4+) to undergraduate students. With over 3 years of teaching experience at National Taiwan University and in private tutoring, I focus on building strong foundations in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
My teaching approach combines clear explanations, interactive practice, and real-life application to ensure students not only understand but can confidently use the language. For younger students, I incorporate games and storytelling, while for older students, I emphasize comprehension, writing skills, and exam preparation.
Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes and is customized based on the student’s goals, whether it is academic improvement, exam success, or daily communication. As a Master’s graduate with strong academic and research experience, I bring both depth and clarity into my teaching.
