Conventional reading and byhearting doesn't lead to enlightenment, rather it makes your learning stagnate. To overcome this hurdle, try to read something out of the norm, which can be difficult at first, but the more you read,the more you get exposed to a world of books that's not only rich in vocabulary but also rich in foundations that helps you outclass your peers.
