About Noga
Hi! I’m Noga, a Psychology student in Northeastern University’s College of Science. I have always enjoyed math and love helping others feel more confident in subjects that may seem challenging at first. I earned a 33 on the ACT Math section and a 4 on the AP Calculus exam, and I bring a patient, encouraging approach to every lesson. I understand that every student learns differently, and I am committed to creating a comfortable environment where students can ask questions, work through mistakes, and build confidence in their math skills.

As a tutor, I focus on making math feel less overwhelming by breaking problems down into clear, manageable steps. I want students to understand why they are doing something rather than simply memorizing a formula, and I adjust my approach based on how each student learns best. A typical lesson would begin by reviewing any concepts the student is struggling with, followed by working through examples together and then having the student practice independently while I provide guidance and feedback. My background as a Psychology student at Northeastern helps me understand that everyone learns differently, so I try to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes. I tutor elementary, middle, and high school students in math and can help with homework, test preparation, and strengthening overall math skills.
