About Stephen
I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Mathematics. I have a M.S. and B.A. in Mathematics, and a B.S. in Physics from Penn State University. Since finishing my undergraduate degree, I have tutored a lot on the side, and have tutored at the Math Success Center at NMSU as part of my assistantship.

I like to use the Socratic method when teaching - i.e. instead of feeding information to the student, the teacher "draws the knowledge out of" the student. This helps the student to not just memorize, but actually understand how something works.
