About Paul

I’m a trainee Clinical Psychologist working in the NHS and studying for my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at UCL I come with a strong academic background in psychology, research methods and evidence‑based practice. I enjoy helping students feel more confident, capable and organised in their learning. You will already have so much ability and I will help you harness this.

I teach because I genuinely love making Psychology clear, manageable and enjoyable, and I’m passionate about supporting you to reach your potential. My approach is calm, patient and structured, and I aim to create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions and proud of their progress.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to help students feel confident, supported, and genuinely understand Psychology — not just memorise it. I create a calm, encouraging space where students can ask questions, build skills, and see steady progress.

I offer a free 30‑minute introductory session where we can:
*Get to know each other
*Understand your goals and current exam board specification
*Identify strengths and areas to focus on
*Create a simple plan for the next few weeks

How I teach:
*Non-judgemental, patient, and encouraging approach
*Clear explanations using examples, diagrams, and real‑world applications
*Focus on understanding first, then applying knowledge to exam questions
*Regular check‑ins to make sure everything feels manageable
*Tailored to each student’s pace, strengths, and goals

Lesson structure:
*Typical session: 60 minutes
*Shorter or longer sessions available if preferred
*Adaptations tailored to individual needs including neurodiversity
