About Beth
I am an English major and HASS minor with a Bachelor in Secondary Education under my belt. I have been tutoring since 2014 and have always prided myself on being able to not only assist students with their English abilities, but their confidence as well. I believe that encouraging my students to be sure of themselves and their ideas is paramount.

My lessons are structured, but with room for flexibility. I often interject my lessons with humour and anecdotes to make the student feel more at ease and relaxed - this makes them more likely to have a go! I am very organised and like to bring my own resources (worksheets, etc) and will try to keep these as engaging as possible. The main key is engagement: students learn much better if they are intrigued.
