About Stan
I am a newly graduated doctor, having just completed my medical degree ay Imperial College London. I have plenty of training and practical experience with teaching. I have academic training in teaching and learning, involving the science of learning, teaching skills and medical education courses. These together mean I am able to discern and understand the specific need of my tutees and design lesson plans for them, enabling my students to learn in the most effective and efficient way. Using evidence-based frameworks to plan my tutorial also enables me to deliver high quality tutorials for a variety of subjects. I have plenty of practical experience with tutoring, that being 1-1 private tutoring as well as being part of an intensive 1-week tutoring course for medical applicants, including the delivery and feedback of a full mock interview days. I personally achieved all A*s in all sciences at both GCSE and A level, both of which I was the top achiever at my school for. As a result of this, I know exactly what’s expected and needed for my students to do the same. I am also interviewing and marking this year's Imperial College Medical School admissions interviews, so have up to date knowledge and insights on the subject.
