About Abigail
Hi, I'm Abigail! I am a newly enrolled specialist Maths School student who recently achieved 9 Grade 9s at GCSE, including in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Computer Science. In my Mathematics papers, I achieved a score of 95%, clearing the Grade 9 boundary by a 20-mark cushion. Because I have just walked out of the exam hall myself, I have a strong understanding of current exam layouts, mark schemes, and question trends.
Having just completed a rigorous 270-hour revision block for my own exams, I know exactly how overwhelming the GCSE workload can feel. I completely understand the stress of the countdown and the pressure to perform. My goal as a tutor is to take that heavy anxiety away and replace it with confidence and skills that will enable students to succeed.

My lessons are specifically tailored for students preparing for GCSEs in Maths, Physics or Computer Science as well as Level 2 Further Maths qualifications (typically ages 14–16). Whether a student is aiming to pass or wanting to achieve a Grade 9, I adapt my pacing and focus to match their unique goals.
My lessons focus on breaking down complex, abstract STEM concepts into clear, step-by-step logical frameworks. We build an understanding of the core ideas outlined in the official specification before working on questions from real past papers to ensure the student is familiar with the structure of typical questions they will see in the exam.
Lessons are standardly 60 minutes long, which allows us to review homework, introduce a new topic module, and complete a set of focused exam practice questions without causing mental fatigue.
