About Alexander

Throughout high school, I trained in classical voice at the Santa Fe Opera House and studied jazz piano and music production at the Berklee College of Music through pre-college programs. After rigorous study as well as playing many professional gigs around my home state of New Mexico, I made the decision to move to New York City to pursue my career in songwriting and composition. Now at 21 years old I make my living teaching as a private music tutor in multiple schools across the city while I pursue my career as a composer. My musical theater work has been performed as workshops and concerts at venues such as 54 Below and the New York Film Academy with a planned off-Broadway production of my first musical coming in 2026. I also work as a music producer and songwriter for artistic clients in the city, using my expertise having produced and recorded hundreds of songs to help artists achieve their creative vision.

About the lesson

My approach to learning is to fully immerse yourself in the process of whatever you are trying to achieve. Every major achievement or opportunity I have received in my career has come from my dedication to learning everything there is to know about my craft from any resource I can get my hands on. I have received training from institutions such as the Santa Fe Opera house and the Berklee College of Music, but often I found myself frustrated in academia learning from teachers who were not active in their field. As someone who now makes a living as a music educator, music producer, and musical theater composer in New York City, I can assure you taking lessons from me you will really be learning from someone who is active in every aspect of their creativity. I am passionate about learning in every form and am eager to share my wide skill set with as many students as possible!!
