About Steve
I'm not your typical dry science teacher. I believe science should be exciting, fun, hands on, and should focus students on making sense of the world around them.
While I can't gurantee that the homework you get from your teacher will be more interesting, I can promise to help you understand it better, particularly at a conceptual level.
I'm especially interested in helping students with science fairs and engineering design competitions.

Passionate about science math education. Specialize in middle school science and math, but comfortable with any grade level. Familiar with Amplify Science. Designed science curriculum for the Nevada State Science Teachers Association, and served as a Science CRT test question reviewer for the Nevada Department of Education.
Great with science fair and engineering design competitions, as well as standardized test prep.
