About Sam
Current sophomore at the University of Arizona, where I'm pursuing degrees in Computer Science and Neuroscience as a part of the Honors College. I currently have a 3.61 GPA with 42 credits completed, earning a B or higher in all of my courses so far.
I really enjoy teaching and helping others learn and I will be a TA for Chemistry and Microbiology starting at the beginning of next semester. I'm very proficient in communicating ideas well and helping the student truly learn the material and perform to their full academic potential.

Because each student is different, I try to tailor a specific method that will help the student according to his/her level of proficiency in the subject.
In general, I try not to replicate a typical classroom or lecture, but allow the student to explore the subject, which allows them to truly understand the material. I try to ask the student difficult questions, letting them work through a problem and teaching along the way, leading them to an answer.
I've found that this is much more efficient than traditional methods in that it teaches the student not to be reliant on a tutor or teacher, so they develop the ability to learn material on their own in the future.
