About Aamiya
I am currently completing my undergraduate degree at the University of Exeter.
I revised for my GCSEs by teaching my younger brother everything I was learning, until I understood it fully and could apply expertly to past papers.
After achieving 10A*s, and realising how much I enjoyed it, I decided to start casually tutoring students. I have been doing this for over 3 years now, while making sure to be a friendly face to my tutees in what is a stressful time in their school career.

I offer lessons to students between the ages of 10 and 16, including 11+ entrance exams, school summer exams and GCSE tuition.
I would request you to share the board being examined and any specific material the student's school may have given them on the subject topics in advance. Additionally, I would ask the student how much understanding they have of the topic beforehand. By being fully aware of the exact syllabus and comfort level they have for each topic, I can tailor the classes to meet their individual needs so they produce the best results that they can.
I aim to provide a friendly and conversational lesson structure, with questions throughout to test learning. I am also happy to mark past paper questions and help with effective note writing, to provide support.
