About Justine
I am currently a graduate student at the University of Florida studying Biomedical Neuroscience. I recieved my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of New Orleans. I have always had a passion for life sciences and often found myself teaching my peers and classmates difficult science lessons. I firmly believe that crafting an individualized approach to these lessons is the key to success and establishing trust with a student. I am a very communicative mentor who strives to orient my teaching style around what works best for the student.

I tutored collegiate athletes in various subjects for three years throughout my undergraduate degree and also worked as a student teacher. I thrive off of the enthusiasm that students gain for their subjects when they begin to understand a personalized approach. I typically start out by planning an approach tailored to the student's learning style. From here, I consistently ask for feedback from the students and parents to ensure my approach is effective. I am a huge advocate for student communication and discussing techniques that may or may not have worked in the past!
