About Sukriti
I graduated last year from the University of Pittsburgh with degrees in Neuroscience and English Writing, with a minor in Chemistry. I am starting medical school this fall, and I have spent years learning my own personal learning style and testing various study skills to find what works best for me. I have been a tutor since middle school, and have taught students from third grade up to college. I have tutored subjects including English, Spanish, Math, Natural Sciences, Computer Science, and History. Using what I've learned in my own struggles as a student, I can recognize what works best for each student and adjust my lesson plans accordingly. More than anything, I want you to feel safe telling me what your specific concerns are and speaking up when certain teaching styles aren't working. Learning is a long and difficult process, but we will get through it together!

I have been tutoring for years and have also been tutored myself, so I understand that each student has unique struggles with coursework. I will work with you to figure out your personal learning style, adapt to your specific classes, and ensure that you are not only learning the content, but also study skills that will help you in the future.
I prefer to use multiple approaches including reading, visual diagrams, practice problems, flashcards, and anything else that will help you understand the content better. Whether you pick it up instantly or we have to review the same topic multiple times, I will make sure that you are confident in the content. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable speaking up when one of my methods isn't working or if you need something explained in a different way. I am here for you, and I want to ensure you get the most out of every session!
