About Gulzar
Hello, I’m Gulzar Tandan, a passionate educator with over seven years of teaching experience in Biology and Life Sciences. I hold a Master’s degree in Microbiology and am NET-qualified, which makes me eligible to teach at the assistant professor level. Currently, I am also pursuing a B.Ed. to integrate modern teaching techniques into my classes. My journey as a teacher has always been guided by the belief that science becomes easier when it feels connected to everyday life. Students often describe my teaching style as clear, engaging, and approachable, because I focus on breaking down complex ideas into simple, understandable steps. I am committed to helping learners not just score well in exams, but also develop a true understanding of biological concepts that will support them in higher studies and professional growth. With my background in both research and pedagogy, I bring depth, clarity, and enthusiasm to every session. As a teacher, my approach is centered on clarity, engagement, and understanding. I believe that every concept in Biology can be simplified when explained with real-life examples and interactive methods, making learning both meaningful and enjoyable.
Teaching techniques & methods:
I use a blend of concept-based explanations, visual aids, and exam-oriented strategies. My focus is not just on memorization but on building a deep understanding of scientific principles.
Class structure:
A typical class begins with a quick recap, followed by a structured explanation of the topic. I encourage active participation, questions, and discussions. Each session ends with problem-solving, key takeaways, and short assignments or practice questions to reinforce learning.

With over 8 years of teaching experience, a Master’s in Microbiology, and being NET-qualified, I combine academic expertise with modern B.Ed. teaching methods. My classes are student-focused, exam-ready, and research-informed, ensuring learners gain both knowledge and confidence.
