About Surangama
I did my BA (Hons) & MA in Sociology with First Class from Presidency College, Kolkata, and Jadavpur University, Kolkata. I completed my second masters in Media and Communications from Goldsmiths College, University of London. I cracked the NET with Junior Research Fellowship and was Head of the Department of Sociology under the West Bengal Education Service for over two years.
I then taught as Assistant Professor of Sociology in Stella Maris College, Chennai, one of the leading women's colleges in the country. I have taught several students privately at different levels.
