My name is Lina and I have been a private tutor for over 10 years. I have found that a student may be naturally gifted at a subject and yet struggle with it at an educational institution simply because studying in a large group setting isn’t effective for all types of learners. Many average level students become top-grade achievers even with just one private one-on-one tutoring session per week. Going over the material in a calm, friendly atmosphere, away from the pressure to perform in front of other students can work wonders for any student.

I aim to help students rid themselves of stress and anxiety over school work by breaking down the material for them into small, manageable chunks. I focus my efforts into delivering the material in a way that suits the individual student – something that cannot be achieved in a group setting.
