About Olivia
I‘m a 3rd year student in a BSC of Data Science studying in Maynooth.
I have had a passion for maths and science since I was young.
In secondary school I was always helping my peers with problems they had and making things easier for them to understand.
Teaching maths has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember.
I hope to study a post masters in education once I’ve completed my current degree.
I’ve taught many students over the years as I love seeing them thrive and improve in the subject.
Maths is such a powerful subject and I think anybody is capable of doing well with the right help!

I focus on building the student’s abilities for the fundamentals of maths.
Once I feel a student has a good grasp on the basics I will move on to material they will be covering in class.
I also offer help with homework and exam preparation.
Depending on the students needs I alter my lessons to suit them.
Lessons usually last an hour but sometimes run 10-15 mins longer.
I’ve been giving maths lessons to students since 2020.
I mainly teach secondary school students of all levels but have experience teaching primary school students too.
