About Sanjana
Hi, I'm Sanjana! I'm a Year 11 student studying Year 12 Mathematics, which means I've survived enough math to know where everyone gets stuck.
I never really liked math. What's the point in learning these random numbers and letters that would clearly be of no use to me? However, I soon learned that there is a certain art and pattern to math many students fail to see.
My goal is simple: make math less intimidating, more understandable, and maybe even *slightly* enjoyable (I know, bold claim!). I promise there'll be no judging, no "you should already know this," and absolutely no calculators harmed in the process.
If you leave a lesson saying, "Wait... that's actually easy," then I've done my job.

Hello! I'm Sanjana, a Year 11 student studying Year 12 Mathematics with a strong passion for helping others learn. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to the student's needs, explaining concepts in multiple ways until they make sense. My goal is to build both confidence and understanding rather than simply memorizing answers.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although shorter sessions can be arranged for younger students. During each lesson, I begin by identifying areas the student finds challenging, explain the concepts step by step using examples, and then work through practice questions together before encouraging independent problem-solving.
While I am beginning my tutoring journey, I have consistently achieved strong academic results and enjoy supporting classmates with mathematics. I am patient, approachable, and believe creating a relaxed environment helps students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.
I offer lessons for primary and intermediate students, as well as Year 9 and Year 10 students, particularly in mathematics. Whether your child needs help keeping up with schoolwork, preparing for tests, or building confidence, I aim to make learning clear, engaging, and enjoyable.
