About Emma
I have an A* A-level in Maths (both AS and A2) and am currently on break from study at the University of Bath doing a science degree.
I have two years of tutoring experience, including setting up a tutoring system in my secondary school and helping students pass GCSEs bringing their grade up from an F.

My method as a tutor is bringing the subject into real world context relatable to the student. This direct personal connection is something that is unattainable in a larger classroom setting.
I help the students understand how the maths work rather than just a set route of how to solve equations, thus allowing them to solve similar problems when given in a different format.
My lessons style vary from student to student, though with exam year student I like to focus on exam-style questions.
