About the lesson

As a native Turkish speaker and language tutor, I specialize in teaching conversational Turkish through the Berlitz immersive method — a proven approach that focuses on speaking and comprehension in real-life scenarios. My goal is to help students not just learn Turkish, but think and communicate in it naturally and confidently.

Teaching Method & Techniques

I use a 100% immersive approach, where students are encouraged to speak Turkish from the very first lesson. I tailor each session around real-world conversation topics such as daily life, travel, shopping, dining, and social interactions. Grammar and vocabulary are integrated contextually rather than taught in isolation. My lessons are highly interactive, with students speaking at least 90% of the time, while I guide, correct pronunciation, and provide cultural insights.

A Typical Lesson

Each lesson begins with a short warm-up conversation to review previous material. We then dive into a themed dialogue or situation, practice new vocabulary, and reinforce grammar through guided speaking and role-play. Lessons end with a short recap and practical tips to apply what’s been learned in everyday situations.
