About Matheus
Hello everyone! My name is Matheus, and I am Brazilian. I would love to help you in the process of learning Portuguese. Since 2015, I have been a language teacher because I love exchanging knowledge and helping and learning with my students. =)
I studied English for 5 and a half years in Brazil. And, since 2015, I am an English teacher. I have experience in accompanying exchange students, in the initial and intermediate training of students, as well as in perfecting the skills of advanced level students.
I have already worked in the preparation of several students for proficiency exams, such as the TOEFL, and specific university exams for admission to undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degrees.
Since 2022, I have also started working with Spanish-speaking students teaching Brazilian Portuguese (PT - BR).

Generally, I like to do an initial analysis of each student's prior knowledge, and find out what their goals are. Then together we define a curriculum that is based on your way of learning. We are accompanying its development class by class, because I like to always keep open the possibility of altering our plan depending on what is working and what is not. In the end, each student is unique, and it is important that we know how to adapt to the needs of each one to better help them in their development.
