About George
I am an academic, specialising in theatre, sound and philosophy. I am also a theatre director and trained actor. I have taught a range of subjects (incl. English, History, Art, Philosophy, Religion, Music) in a schools and universities throughout the UK and abroad. I hold a PGCE (Cambridge), PhD (QMUL) and am CELTA qualified.

My teaching methodology is student-focussed and dynamic. I use a range of techniques (including role-play, live listening, intensive comprehension, model writing) to improve fluency and accuracy. My lessons deal with every aspect of the English language, including: phonology, grammar, accent, diction, vocabulary/lexis, punctuation. My lessons are catered to the needs of the learner. I offer sector-specific workshops in law, business, the arts, and academia.
