About Karolina
I come from Poland, but spent many years of my childhood in the USA. Throughout the last 9 years, I have taught children and adults, individually and in groups, online and in person, in Poland and abroad, conversational and business English, exam preparation, elements of grammar and lots of vocabulary.
I hold an Engineering degree in International Logistics and a Master's degree in Journalism and Social Communication. I love to learn foreign languages and I see how having that kind of knowledge opens doors of opportunity, removes the fear of communication, enables us to get better paid jobs and build relationships. At the beginning, together with the student or student's parents, we set the goal of the English classes. I tailor the lessons according to the student's needs and interests. My classes are usually 60 min long. However, this can be adjusted upon request, depending on the student's concentration span. I usually teach only online, but depending on your location, stationary classes could be possible, too.
I love to incorporate music, arts, theater, videos and games into the lesson - yes, even for adults! We tend to learn much faster when we are having fun in a dynamic environment. When teaching children, kinesthetic activities are a game changer and help kids memorize much faster and with less effort.
I enjoy helping students of all ages and levels reach their linguistic goals by overcoming the fear of speaking, building confidence, staying motivated and making learning fun!
