About Bornil
As an instructor, I prefer to combine helping students come up with their own solutions based on needed guidance with direct instruction. I value time, and as such, am punctual barring extenuating circumstances. I am always glad to speak regarding academics as well as related interests.
Outside of academics, I also perform on stage and occasionally in other media, in both English and Bengali, and have had written work published in both, so we may share a literary interest.

Each lesson is personalised according to individual student needs, with a focus on conceptual understanding and memorisation as a supplement, and lasts anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours. I am open to taking on students from all grade levels starting from GCSE/O Levels up to 100 Level University Courses.
I am a native speaker of Bengali and have been tutoring for four years now and have received glowing reviews for literary guidance, especially for composition and grammar elements; students have improved by a full letter grade after just a few lessons.

I've known Bornil for a while, having met through an online writing community a few years ago. They've actually edited a few of my pieces and helped me brainstorm ideas for a couple of my works. They took me through their edits step by step, explaining where I went wrong and how to correct my mistakes so I wouldn't make them in the future, which really helped me in the long run to better understand common grammatical errors that I tend to repeat in my work.
