About Maria

Hola! I’m Maria

I’m a native Spanish speaker passionate about helping students feel confident speaking Spanish from the very first lesson.

I have a background in Law, International Relations, and Migration Studies, and I currently live in Melbourne. My experience presenting seminars and working in multicultural environments has helped me develop strong communication skills and a patient, supportive teaching style.

I teach both adults and children (7+) and hold a valid Working With Children Check in Australia.

My goal is simple:
Help you speak naturally
Build your confidence
Make learning Spanish enjoyable and practical

About the lesson

My teaching style is conversational, supportive, and practical.

I focus on:
• Real-life conversations
• Speaking confidence
• Vocabulary you can actually use
• Cultural immersion

Lessons are interactive and may include:
• Role plays
• Games (especially for kids)
• Short grammar explanations
• Practical exercises

I adjust the pace depending on your style and confidence.

Lessons are usually 60 minutes, but I can also do shorter or longer sessions if you prefer.

I teach beginners to intermediate learners, including kids, teenagers, and adults.

We can start with a free 30-minute Zoom lesson to meet, assess your level, and plan your learning goals before starting regular classes.

Whether you want to travel, improve speaking skills, or just learn Spanish for fun, I make it easy and enjoyable!
