About Natalia

¡Hola! I became a Spanish teacher because I have a passion for educating and communicating to others not only the language, but also the Hispanic-American culture.
I am certified by the Instituto Cervantes to teach Spanish to foreigners. I have been teaching Spanish for more than 3 years, both face-to-face and online. I have worked in Asian and European countries, teaching in schools to children and adults. I speak Spanish (native), English, Turkish at a basic level and now I am learning French, which allows me to have a closer communication with my students.

I am passionate about languages, I dedicate part of my free time to perfect my teaching methods and to offer the best possible experience to my students. For me it is important to know your learning objectives so that we can adapt the classes and make them more profitable. I am a very adaptable person, because I have lived in many countries and I love to know and learn from other cultures. I feel that by teaching my students I also learn a lot from them.
In my free time I like reading, walking in the city and nature, fashion, travelling and listening to music, especially music from the eighties.

About the lesson

For me, patience and empathy are fundamental qualities of a good teacher, as well as a dynamic atmosphere during lessons. My main objective is that we can progress as a team. My methodology is based on playful activities, role-plays and the use of grammar.
As much as possible, I like to emphasize conversation so that my students understand spoken Spanish (different from written Spanish) and can quickly acquire fluency in the language and help them to become confident and secure in speaking.

I adapt my classes according to the objectives and needs of each person, for example :

- Preparation for official exams
- Travel and leisure time
- Joining a new job where you need to speak Spanish
- Practising Spanish as a hobby.
- Improve your pronunciation.
