About Paula
I’m a native Spanish speaker from Spain and I have completed a course in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) with the Instituto Cervantes.
Although my university background is in Pharmacy, I have always enjoyed helping others learn and understand new things. My academic background has also taught me to be organised, patient and thorough, which I bring to my lessons.
I’m friendly, approachable and enjoy working with children. I understand that every child learns differently, so I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building confidence in Spanish.
My goal is not only to help children complete their Spanish homework, but also to help them understand what they are doing and become more confident and independent in the language.

I offer friendly and personalised Spanish support for children who are learning Spanish at school, helping them with their homework, schoolwork and exam preparation.
My lessons are particularly suitable for primary and secondary school children who need a little extra support or would benefit from practising Spanish with a native speaker.
I can help with:
- Spanish homework and school assignments
- Grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation
- Reading and writing
- Preparing for school tests and exams
- Conversation and building confidence in Spanish
- Reviewing and practising topics covered at school
- I adapt each lesson to the child’s age, level and school requirements, making Spanish practice engaging and enjoyable rather than stressful.
Lessons can take place in Cambridge or online, depending on your preference.
If your child needs a little extra help with Spanish homework or would simply benefit from regular practice with a native speaker, I’d be very happy to help!
