About Monica

I am a native speaker from Colombia, who enjoys multicultural exchange. I love learning languages. I have been learning and improving English for more than 5 years now. Now I am learning French, and Italian... so I understand it is not easy at the beginning but it is so enjoyable. :) I have been teaching Spanish to kids from 1 year old, and adults for more than 2 years now. Being able to share my culture and my language and see how students get better every day, as well as, being part of their journey is so gratifying for me.

About the lesson

Everyone has different interests and motivations to learn Spanish, as well as, different ways and methodologies work for every person. We will focus on your objectives, (why you would like to learn, what you want to learn, and how you would like to be taught). Fun and interesting activities: Listening to your favorite songs, speaking about your favorite interests, reading and writing about your favorite stories. Questions and answers about any topic you are interested in. (Remember that I am learning other languages as well, so I understand perfectly how you could feel).

This first lesson offered with Monica will allow you to get to know each other and clearly specify your needs for your next lessons.

Details

Price includes 1 hour class with extra activities and information, according to your interests. I'll charge for time of transportation however if you are able to meet somewhere central for both of us, I'll only charge $5. Also you're more than welcome to come to my building's meeting room or at the closest library or mall, and I won't charge extra money :). Let me know what works for you.
