¡Hola! I'm Andrea Rodríguez, a native Spanish speaker from Caracas, Venezuela, currently studying Marketing at the University of Notre Dame Australia in Sydney. Having lived in Spain for three years, I have a deep understanding of both Latin American and European Spanish. Fluent in both English and Spanish, I am passionate about helping students improve their language skills in a clear, engaging, and personalized way. Spanish is a wonderful language, the second most spoken language in the world in fact. It gives you access to three continents of cultural interaction and a flashy skill in your resume. I am a native Spanish speaker, born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela and lived in Spain for three years. We can work depending on your previous Spanish knowledge. If you'd like to start from scratch we could do that, and if you want to improve your vocabulary and particularly your pronunciation and ability to communicate I can help you out. My teaching methodology is very interactive, we will be mostly speaking to each other and occasionally do some writing and reading to perfect that area. I teach Spanish in order for you to be able to communicate with Spanish speakers, so that will be the priority (although if you need extra help in class assignments for school I can also help). Lessons will preferably be a max of 2 people, in order for them to be effective. The lessons are usually 2 hours, and I would prefer the age of the students to be over 7 years old so that we can communicate efficiently.
