About Carolina
I’m Carolina Ares, a native Spanish teacher from Argentina and a certified instructor of Spanish as a second language with over 10 years of experience. I’ve taught at the Cervantes Institute and the Parent Program at the American School of Budapest. I offer dynamic, personalized online classes for teenagers and adults of all levels, helping high school students excel in their IB Spanish exams. Let’s make learning Spanish fun and effective!

My lessons are student-centered and adapted to each learner’s goals, level, and learning style. I use a communicative and interactive approach, prioritizing real-life language practice. Authentic and varied materials: articles, podcasts, videos, and cultural resources to make learning dynamic and relevant. Applied grammar: clear and simple explanations, always in a practical context so students can use what they learn immediately. Focus on the four skills: listening, reading, speaking, and writing, with special attention to fluency and pronunciation. Personalized lessons: activities designed to fit each student’s needs (IB exams, professional communication, travel, interviews, etc.). Continuous assessment and feedback: supporting progress with specific exercises and constructive feedback. My goal is for every student to learn effectively, stay motivated, and truly enjoy the process of discovering a new language and culture.
