About Maxim

Want to speak Russian confidently and understand how native speakers really communicate? I am a native Russian speaker and a certified teacher of Russian as a foreign language.

My teaching journey began in 2017, when my university English teacher invited me to help teach Russian to international students. This experience inspired me to earn a professional qualification, and since graduating in 2021, I’ve been working with students from the USA, the UK, Austria, France, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, and Australia.

About the lesson

I can help you learn Russian if you:

Have a Russian-speaking partner, spouse, friend, or family member and want to communicate with them more easily.
Are interested in Russian culture and want to understand the language, traditions, literature, music, and everyday life.
Have Russian roots and want to reconnect with your heritage or communicate with Russian-speaking relatives.
Need Russian for school or work and want to improve your communication skills for academic or professional situations.
Have another reason for learning Russian — feel free to tell me about your goals, and we can adapt the lessons to your needs.

I tailor each lesson to your goals, level, interests, and learning pace, focusing on practical communication and steady progress. My classes are structured, practical, and designed to help you start using Russian from your very first lessons. We work with a textbook and workbook while integrating grammar, vocabulary, speaking, reading, and listening into our lessons. For example, after learning new vocabulary or completing a grammar exercise, I’ll ask you questions in Russian so you can naturally use new words and grammar in your answers. This approach helps you remember new material more effectively and build confidence when speaking.

Group Russian classes are now open for enrollment!

If you are looking for a Russian language teacher, then I recommend Maxim to you, I have been studying Russian with Maxim for over 6 months. 2 lessons per week. I like everything, I am happy with the result. The classes are not boring. We try to speak Russian as much as possible. It seems to me that training is more effective this way, and Maxim confirms this. I want to say that Maxim selects exercises according to my interests, for example, for homework, he asked me to watch a TV series in Russian voice acting (I liked it more than the original) and write out slang words. In addition to the fact that I really like the training, Maxim makes discounts when paying for a package of 5 or 10 lessons. It's nice
