About Sergi

¡Hola! My name is Sergi, I am from Barcelona and I am 33 years old. I am Head of Spanish at a secondary school. I graduated in Modern Languages and did a Master in Spanish for foreigners. I have a passion for studying and teaching languages and I have been teaching Spanish for the last 14 years. I have worked with students from 4 to 60 years old and with different levels of expertise. I have prepared students for official exams such as GCSE, A level and DELE / CEFRL (European levels from A1 to C2), for which I am a certified examiner. I have specialised in secondary school students teaching students from 11 to 19 years old where I have worked with students of different Spanish levels. I have helped students who were underachieving to get to their targets and beyond, as well as I have helped high achievers students to go from that grade 7 to a 9. I have experience as well with students with a different range of SEN.

About the lesson

The first lesson we will discuss your objectives and your weaknesses and strengths as well as your interests. The lessons will be engaging and fun, my aim is to pass on my passion and my knowledge to you or your children. To learn a language is a travel through different countries, cultures and thinkings. I wish to guide you through that process while your Spanish is boosted! I have a lot of extra material and ideas to recommend so you engage and you improve while doing things that you like as Spanish movies, series, music, articles, literature or other hobbies and interests that you might have. I will adapt the lessons to the different needs or objectives of the student, as well as prepare bespoke topics to the student if the need is for holidays, work or studies. So just tell me about your goals and your interests! ·Learn to communicate practising more the speaking in real situations and conversations. ·Boost your grammar and vocabulary. ·Prepare for official exams such as GCSE, A-Level or DELE.
