About Sana

Having been born and raised in Pakistan, speaking Urdu is taken for granted. Since coming to the UK, and with a child of my own, the importance of Urdu has become highlighted to me. I wish for my child and other children, and anyone else curious enough, to wholeheartedly learn the beautiful language that is Urdu.

About the lesson

As someone proficient in speaking, writing and reading the Urdu language, I will be able to effectively teach students. The first lesson will consist of a test to establish the skill of the student at which point the lessons will become more orientated and unique to the student. Each student is unique and with their own enjoyments, and my lessons will reflect that using what they already enjoy to make learning the language easier. As the lessons progress, I will switch to speaking with the student in more Urdu than English so that the student may develop the ability to speak Urdu conversationally in everyday settings as well as in more formal occasions.

My urdu significantly proved because of Sana. I could speak the language before but I wasn't fluent, my urdu was very broken and I would often struggle to properly pronounce some words. Because of Sana and conversing in Urdu with her, my speaking ability has improved alot and I have a lot more confidence when speaking the language too. I definitely recommend Sana as a tutor - 10/10!
