About Yeyingxue
Hi, I’m Zho, a native Mandarin speaker from China with a background in marketing, advertising and creative writing.
I spent several years working in advertising in China and five years living and working in Australia, so I understand both Chinese communication and the experience of using a second language in real life.
I now teach Mandarin to adult learners from different backgrounds. What I enjoy most is turning the things my students are genuinely interested in — work, travel, culture, business or everyday life — into Chinese they can actually use.
I’m not interested in making you memorize Chinese just for the sake of memorizing it. I want you to leave each lesson feeling that you can say something today that you couldn’t say before.

My lessons are built around one goal: helping you actually use Chinese, not just memorize it.
I focus on practical speaking, listening and vocabulary through real conversations and topics that are relevant to you. Instead of following the same textbook for every student, I adapt each lesson to your level, interests and goals.
A typical lesson combines conversation, useful new vocabulary, pronunciation and natural expressions, followed by practical situations where you use what you have just learned.
For students with professional goals, I can also design lessons around business, marketing and workplace Chinese. For example, we might explore how Chinese social media works, discuss a real brand, or practise explaining your work in Chinese.
My lessons are mainly for adult learners, from beginners who want to start speaking to intermediate learners who want to sound more natural and communicate with greater confidence.
