About Mei
I graduated from Harbin Normal University, where I developed a strong foundation in education and teaching. In 2011, I moved to Canada, which gave me the opportunity to experience different cultures and teaching methods. While studying, I gained valuable experience tutoring children in Chinese, English, and mathematics, helping them not only improve their academic performance but also develop confidence in learning. As a native Chinese speaker, I am passionate about sharing both the language and the culture in a clear and accessible way. My lessons are designed to be professional, structured, and personalized, whether the focus is on speaking, listening, reading, or writing. I believe every student has unique learning needs, and I aim to provide supportive, engaging instruction that makes learning Mandarin both effective and enjoyable.
