About Laura
Born and raised in Italy, I moved to NYC four years ago and recently graduated from college. Two years ago I also started my experience in the tutoring arena by becoming the only Italian tutor on campus and making Italian the second most requested language for tutoring. I am empathetic, flexible and passionate about tutoring and helping other students.

As a native Italian speaker, college student and Italian tutor on campus, I understand the challenges that come with learning a new language, how tough balancing out your personal life and academic goals can be, and how the right approach can make a difference in your learning experience.
Every lesson will be different as every student is different and deserves that flexibility and empathy that being a tutor on campus helped me master. As a native speaker, I can teach all levels and provide a service that goes beyond grammar and focuses on the cultural aspect of the language if the student is interested.
I do not perform miracles, but I can help you start or continue your journey of learning Italian and provide tools that you can use to improve your learning experience when you are on your own. Let’s get to work!

I highly recommend her, whenever I see her tutoring Italian she encourages her students to keep asking or repeating a a word if they don't understand something, this gives the student confidence when learning the language. As her coworker I see how she tutors efficiently and how many of the students come back exited to learn more.
