About Gloria
I have been teaching Italian for some years now and gained experience in different linguistic, cultural and educational environments.
While getting my MA in Language Sciences, I got the CEDILS certification to teach Italian as a foreign language and start my first group course for foreign women in my hometown.
During my experiences as Italian teaching assistant at the university of Ghent, in Belgium, as teacher of Italian at the Dante Alighieri Association in Sevilla, Spain, currently at Susquehanna University as Fulbright grantee, and my self-employed business, I had the chance to teach to students from different parts of the world (Belgium, Spain, Holland, UK, USA, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Turkey).

Effective language teaching methods are based on science and research, but they can’t ignore the unique characteristics of each students. That’s why in my classes I lead you through the learning process applying scientifically proved methods and combining them to each student personality and interest.
I adopt a communicative method in an immersive context, meaning that whatever we do aims at being able to communicate and I will use as much Italian as possible, switching to English when needed.
During my classes I prioritize conversation, still helping you to develop all four skills through different materials we agree on at the beginning of the course.
