About Laurin

Hello, I'm Laurin, a native German speaker currently pursuing an MBA at London Business School after three years working at Boston Consulting Group. Prior to that, I studied at the London School of Economics and completed the International Baccalaureate, including Higher Level German.

Alongside my studies, I gained several years of tutoring experience, supporting students with German language learning, exam preparation and oral assessments. I have always enjoyed helping others build confidence in their communication skills and achieve their academic goals.

I enjoy working with a broad range of learners, including school and university students, professionals working in international environments, individuals relocating to German-speaking countries and anyone looking to improve their German for personal or professional reasons.

As someone who has studied and worked internationally, I understand the importance of clear communication and tailor every lesson to the individual goals, level and learning style of each student.

Perfect! Laurin is a brilliant tutor. His explanations are very clear, he is patient and he is very good at breaking the language down so I can get a better grasp of the grammar. I would highly recommend him to others interested in studying the German language! :)

Perfect! I was really impressed with Laurin - we spoke one the phone prior to our first lesson and he sent me some material beforehand, based on what I'd told him I wanted to focus on. He challenged me from the very beginning and I came away with more knowledge than before. He's also a super friendly guy!
