About Karine

I'm a native French speaker originally from France, now based in the UK, with a genuine passion for languages and connecting with people from different backgrounds. Before moving into wellness coaching, I worked as a teacher, so guiding others through learning comes naturally to me. I love sharing my language and culture, and I find real satisfaction in watching a student go from hesitant to confident, whether that's mastering exam techniques or simply feeling at ease holding a conversation in French. Teaching, for me, isn't just about grammar, it's about connection.

About the lesson

As a native French speaker with a Bachelor's Honours in French and a background in teaching, I bring both fluency and structure to every lesson. My approach is patient and adapted to each student, whether you're preparing for GCSE or A-Level exams, brushing up French for work or travel, or simply learning for the pleasure of it. I focus on building confidence through real conversation, not just grammar rules, and I tailor each session to your goals and pace. Lessons are relaxed but purposeful, so you actually enjoy the process of learning.

I am very happy to recommend Amina as a French tutor/teacher. When I started, I struggled with basic conversation, but she created a good environment that immediately boosted my confidence. The lessons are flexible, tailored completely to my pace and goals. Amina is engaging, and explains difficult grammar rules with great clarity. I cannot recommend her highly enough to anyone looking to genuinely improve their French.
