About Maria

Hi, I’m Maria! I am a native French speaker living in Watford.

I am passionate about helping students feel confident and supported while learning French. Having completed training in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE / Cavilam), I enjoy sharing my language and culture.

My goal is to make learning French clear, accessible, and enjoyable for both students and adults.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is personalised, patient, and practical. I tailor each lesson to your specific goals, whether you are preparing for GCSE and A-Level exams or wanting to improve your French for work, travel, and personal interest.

During our lessons, we focus on interactive speaking practice, essential grammar, and building real confidence in French.

I hold formal training in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE / Cavilam) and have experience working with both adults and secondary students.

Lessons are available in-person in the Watford area or online.

Maria is wonderful at explaining complex grammar rules in a way that actually makes sense. Whenever I was confused during class, she found a different, simple way to break it down until I fully understood.
Very supportive and dedicated tutor!
